It seems as if all of the playgroups I go have girls. Lots of girls. Cute little screechy, bow-tied, giggly girls. Andrew is such a stud. But today he picked up some "girl-talk".
My neighborhood had a playgroup today. There were 4 girls between the ages of 2 1/2 and 3 1/2, Andrew, and then 2 boys about 1 year old. The mom's all sat on the couches and talked while the kids ran around the HUGE basement and played. Andrew didn't mingle too much with the girls, but he did run after them for a little while.
We got home from playgroup and Andrew said "Big fun Mommy, big fun". That is a typical Andrew phrase. Then as I was taking his shoes off, he says "Wanna decorate Mama". "Did you say you want to decorate?" "Yes, decorate the house mama".
Hmmmmm, maybe we need to spend a little more time with some rough and tough little boys. Or maybe Jeff and I will finally have someone to decorate our house!
