So here you can see our nice new piece of furniture. It was bought to sit in our small front hall. The drawers are also file cabinets, so there is some function to our lovely piece. I picked it out a while ago out of a catalog, and ordered it last Monday, and Jeff assembled it yesterday.
But do you know what I forgot to do? Measure the wall. Yup, I didn't even think of it until we were moving it into place. Hello??? Can we say RETARDED??? My unbelievably patient husband just laughed at me. I am so angry with myself. Who doesn't measure before buying a piece of furniture???
So, as you can tell from the picture...it doesn't fit in the front hall. At least it has some functionality so it's not a total loss.
Loser. The worst part is, if I had just measured, I could have ordered to two drawer table and it would have fit perfectly. And been cheaper. Arghhhh!
