I have the answer to every parents' question.
Do you ever have nights where your infant suddenly starts crying? No diaper change needed, not hungry, not hurt, not scared. Just screaming their heads off?
Andrew had a night just like this yesterday. Except he can speak now. So I finally know what is going through those babies heads on a night like that.
"All done...-sob-...All done nigh-nigh...-cry- All done mama...MAAAAA MAAAAA...GO DOWN-TAIRS"
That's it. They're just all done sleeping. Aren't you glad you finally know now?
(btw...we let A scream that for an hour and a half...with us peeking in and comforting him occasionally. We thought for sure he'd sleep in the next morning, but nope, up earlier than usual at 6:00!)
